Ms. Rivas, a licensed and bilingual clinical social worker who has worked in the non-profit sector over the last 13 years. She has worked with a variety of groups, including LGBTQ+, individuals with substance use issues, victims of violence and sexual assault within intimate relationships, etc. Since 2019 the Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. Presently, telehealth mental health services are offered. Ms. Rivas, who is part of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal team that works with post-partum and prenatal mothers, is a trauma-informed therapist for adults. She is also a specialist in trauma care. Also, she offers individual and group therapy, treatment with medication as well as referrals to specialty services as well as Women's support groups. Amanda works as a Best Friends Animal Society volunteer and assists in the search for permanent homes for homeless animals. Amanda is a firm believer in the Best Friends slogan Save Them everyone and has a passion for helping to make Los Angeles a city with no killing.
